“Alleyway” on Alberta Street has a happy hour that is full of cheap eats and drinks. Let’s start with the drinks - $2.75 micros with 6 rotating taps, $1 PBR tall boys, $1 off specialty drinks and $3.50 wine. Burger and chips are just $4 and you can sub a huge pile of sweet potato fries for a buck! The garden burger is of equal price. Also on the happy hour menu are nachos, chips and salsa, fried tofu and house made peanut sauce (very tasty!), salads and soups. Nothing on the happy hour food menu is over $5. Dinner for two is easily done for under $20. Taste, service and atmosphere are not spared. I have been back 4 times now and have never been disappointed.
